AppDraw Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the AppDraw mobile application ("AppDraw", "the app", "we", "us") for Android and iOS handles information. AppDraw is developed by Aram Yeghiazaryan, an individual developer based in Armenia.
1. Summary
- You do not need an account. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your drawings, animations and photos stay on your device. We cannot see them.
- The app is free and shows ads. Our analytics and advertising partners collect some device and usage data automatically, as described below.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- We do not collect precise (GPS) location.
- We do not upload, store or share your drawings, animations, exported GIF/MP4 files or photos you pick as a background.
3. Information collected automatically
When you use the app, our partners may automatically collect:
- Device information: device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, app version.
- Identifiers: advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android; IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking), app instance identifiers.
- Network information: IP address and approximate location derived from it (country or city level).
- Usage information: screens opened, features used (for example, which template was selected or exported), session length, ad impressions and clicks.
- Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data.
This information is used to show ads, measure ad performance, understand how the app is used, rank the template catalog, fix crashes and improve the app.
4. Third-party services
The app uses the following services. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Realtime Database, App Check): firebase.google.com/support/privacy

- Meta (Facebook SDK, app events and ad campaign measurement): facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Appodeal (ad mediation): appodeal.com/privacy-policy
Appodeal works with advertising partners that may receive the data listed in section 3, including AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, Mintegral, Pangle, InMobi, Liftoff/Vungle, Bigo Ads, BidMachine and DT Exchange.
The Realtime Database stores only anonymous counters (how often templates are shown, selected and exported). It contains no personal data.
5. Advertising and your choices
- iOS: the app asks for permission to track through App Tracking Transparency. If you decline, the IDFA is not shared. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the app menu > Privacy settings.
- If you decline personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your activity.
6. Permissions
- Photo library / storage: to save finished animations to your gallery, and to use a photo you pick as a canvas background. The picked photo is used only on your device and is never uploaded. On iOS and on Android 13+, the system photo picker gives the app access only to the photo you choose.
- Internet: to load ads, configuration and the template catalog, and to send analytics and crash reports.
- Tracking (iOS): see section 5. You can deny it and still use every feature.
7. Data retention and deletion
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Analytics, crash and advertising data are kept by our partners for a limited period according to their retention settings and policies (for example, crash reports in Firebase Crashlytics are kept for up to 90 days).
You can:
- stop all data collection by uninstalling the app;
- deny or revoke tracking and personalized ads as described in section 5;
- delete your drawings at any time inside the app or by deleting the app;
- request deletion of data associated with your device by emailing support@appdraw.app. We will process the request and forward it to our partners within 30 days.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We do not sell personal data for money; sharing of identifiers with advertising partners for personalized ads can be stopped as described in section 5. 9. Children
AppDraw is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Security
We do not run our own servers for personal data. Our partners protect data with industry-standard measures, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be updated.
